About the Role
The Crusher Oiler assists the Crusher Operator and Central Control Operator to efficiently operate crushers, screens, conveyors, trippers, reclaimer, dust suppression equipment, and related equipment. This position performs required maintenance and cleanup, including lubricating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of the Crusher Operator (IIA), perform start-up procedures for the B2 through B11 areas in a timely and efficient manner daily.
- Monitor the operation of the B2 through B11 areas and perform necessary adjustments.
- Conduct a daily inspection of the B2 through B11 areas and document and submit the inspection sheet to the Quarry supervisor.
- Become familiar with the job functions of the Crusher Operator (IIA) and act as a relief when required.
- Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties in the B2 through B11 areas in compliance with company and MSHA standards.
- Assist the maintenance department during breakdown situations as directed by the repair crew or the Quarry supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to follow specific verbal or written instructions.
- Must be able to read and write in the English language.
- Must be able to do arithmetic calculations.
- Must be able to anticipate repairs and use proper tools.
- Must be able to work from high places.
- Must adhere to company drug and alcohol policy, including random testing.
Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Pay
$32.15 to $34.15 per hour, plus:

Schedule
Swing Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
