Position Overview
The Crusher Foreman will be responsible for maintaining the crusher and conveyers.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Operate basic computer functions, such as production reports and time entry.
- Ability to travel and work with a team.
- Inspect equipment prior to operation for any safety or maintenance issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on the crusher and converyers.
- Create and maintain a safe working environment and lead a team.
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Other duties as assisgned
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Education/Experience - High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a crusher operator or similar role.
- Work Requirements - Must be 18 years in age or older. Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check. Report to work dressed appropriately and ready to begin work at the designated start time. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
- Knowledge/Skill Requirements - Knowledge of the production and aggregate needs. Demonstrate an ability to work with others. Demonstrate comfort in communicating with others to complete tasks. Ability to observe safety and security procedures. Ability to be self-sufficient and perform tasks and duties without immediate supervision. Demonstrate ability to wear and use proper PPE at all times. Maintain time and material records.
- Physical Requirements - Frequent standing, walking, reaching and climbing. Frequent sitting and operating computers and heavy equipment/loader. Position will occasionally require climbing of ladders and steps. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. If lifting more than 50lbs, must have a second person assisting.
