Cruise Director

Calyx Living of Wakefield, located just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh, is hiring a Cruise Director to lead the Activity Program for its contemporary senior living community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a vibrant, holistic, and varied recreational activity program for the assisted‑living community.
• Plan and organize activities that keep residents active and energized.
• Coordinate a team of engaged instructors.
• Maintain a robust schedule of classes in areas such as the arts, yoga, gardening, and exercise.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, warm personality with a passion for working with seniors.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Current driver’s license in good standing in North Carolina.
• Ideally at least one year of experience planning and executing engaging events.
• Completed or willingness to complete the required State Activity Course.
• Excellent people skills and ability to lead a team of instructors.
