Crossing Guard (Cleveland/Almont)

Principal Duties

• Responsible for the safe movement of school children across city roadways
• Traffic control at designated crosswalks
• Safe movement of school children across travelled portions of city roadways at designated crosswalks
• Performing all duties at designated posts at designated times
• Reporting and recording any unusual activity in the area of such designated post
• Reporting and recording any child's injury while on duty
• Reporting and correcting unsafe conduct of the children while on duty
• Performing other such duties as designated by the Assistant Director of Plant Operations

REPORTS TO: Plant Operations

SALARY: $18.24 per hour

WORK YEAR: 2026 - 2027 School Year
