Crossing Guard

Responsibilities

Monitoring and assisting of school age children in crossing designated intersections within the limits of Logan City.

It will be necessary for the individual to be on site 45 minutes prior to school beginning/ending and then remain a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes after school has begun/ended.

Required to work set time frame; usually one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a standard senior high school or equivalent.
• Must be in good physical condition, including sight and hearing.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certificate recommended.
• Ability to judge time and distance in relationship to approaching traffic.

Essentials

• Reliable, dependable and possess a sense of responsibility for the safety of children.
• Of good moral character.
• Able to communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing.
• Able to establish good rapport with children.
• Possess a valid Utah driver's license and provide own transportation to job site.

Schedule

Scheduled hours: Working hours will be 8 to 10 hours weekly.

Pay

Salary: $13.52 - $16.00 Hourly
