Qualifications

• High school diploma (additional related training desirable but not required)
• Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, and exercise good judgment

General Responsibilities

• Provide safety for public school students, private school students, and community members crossing streets or intersections
• Properly handle confidential matters relating to students, student records, parents, staff, and any other school-related issues

Essential Functions

• Follow village ordinances regarding private and public school students and community members crossing streets
• Use good judgment in stopping traffic with proper use of manual stop sign and hand signals
• Report traffic violations to the Police Liaison Officer
• Maintain confidentiality and loyalty to employer
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Business Manager
• Promote a positive image of the District at all times

Benefits

• Starting hourly rate of $22.37, depending on experience
• School year only
• Daily 6:45 AM – 8:15 AM and 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
• Will split AM and PM positions
• Paid holidays
• Sick leave / personal days
• Paid time off

Schedule

Part-time, school year only. Daily hours are 6:45 AM – 8:15 AM and 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM. AM and PM positions will be split. Work location is in person.
