About the Role
Crossing Guards are needed at elementary and middle school sites, before school and after school. Under the supervision of the Site Administrator and Student Services, staff is trained and assigned to direct students across intersections and ensure their safety during access to and from school grounds. This is an on-call, at-will position with hours varying by site.
Responsibilities
- Direct students safely across intersections before and after school.
- Ensure student safety during access to and from school grounds.
- Work a split shift—before and after school hours.
Requirements
- High School diploma or its equivalent.
- Valid California Driver License or California ID.
- Experience working with children (preferred).
Pay
Single Rate Substitute Crossing Guard Rate - $17.16 per hour.
Schedule
Part-time, on-call. Length of work year varies.
