About the role
Responsible for ensuring the safe crossing of pedestrians, students, and staff at designated intersections and crossing areas. The Crossing Guard monitors traffic, assists pedestrians safely across roadways, and follows all established safety procedures. Strong communication skills, attentiveness, and the ability to remain alert in varying weather conditions are essential.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional demeanor while aiding customers, employees, visitors, and guests
- Maintain a visible presence in the assigned facility or building
- Monitor the environment to detect suspicious and unsafe activity
- Become familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic, customers, tenants, visitors, and guests
- Greet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, and guests in a professional manner at all times
- Follow established emergency action planning and procedures
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed

Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Reliable means of communication and transportation
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a neat, professional appearance
Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience is helpful.
Pay
Competitive hourly pay rate of $26.26/Hr.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–4:00 PM.
