Cross Functional Test Engineer

Job Summary

This position is contingent upon contract award and position availability. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer of employment, which will become final only upon successful contract award to Maximus, availability of the position, and receipt of authorization to proceed.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of experience in IT system testing or quality assurance within enterprise environments
• Experience developing and executing manual and automated test cases
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including cloud platforms, databases, and operating systems
• Experience testing system changes following patching, upgrades, and configuration changes
• Experience supporting federal government environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Exposure to security testing aligned with NIST or federal security controls
• Strong collaboration skills for working across multiple core service teams in a shared-responsibility model

Qualifications

• Due to Federal contract requirements, candidates must be US Citizens who do not hold dual citizenship with another country.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen without dual citizenship.

Pay

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Annual salary range: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00.
