About the role
The Regional Sales Manager will oversee a designated sales region, managing agencies, driving business growth, and providing comprehensive support.
Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers, develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, and maximize business retention through exceptional customer service.
- Agency Management: Lead the development of productive agency plans to maximize business opportunities and profitable revenue growth, collaborate with all team members to drive a holistic approach to agency support including internal claims, processing, and livestock partners.
- Business Growth: Proactively identify new business growth opportunities, conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and drive organic growth within the assigned region while meeting or exceeding annual sales goals and ensuring profitability.
- Market Expertise: Become an expert in the local region, understand all products and services needed for success, and communicate competitive products and trends to the internal team for analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Crop Insurance experience in any role such as Agency, sales, Underwriting, Claims, etc.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain effective relationships.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and strategize accordingly.
- Familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics.
- Must live within the assigned region.
