Crop Insurance Adjuster
Remote position based in Kansas, reporting to the Area Claims Supervisor.
About the role
ProAg has an exciting opportunity for a Crop Adjuster to join our team in Western Kansas. As a ProAg Crop Adjuster, you will make first contact with our policy holder on the farm or ranch that has just experienced a loss. You will work with our customer to complete field inspections, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins, collect production records of farm commodities, and assess damage or loss. You’ll stick with each claim for each grower until the work is done and the claim is settled.
This position is remote, covering a territory in Kansas with up to 75% travel, occasionally beyond your assigned territory. You will work regularly in the field on farms, climbing grain bins, walking over rough terrain for long distances, and applying your judgment and understanding of ProAg's adjusting guidelines and policy provisions for Multi-Peril Crop Insurance, Crop Hail, and Named Peril policies.
