This role coordinates recruitment, admissions, and first-year retention efforts, serving as the primary support system for prospective applicants and incoming first-year students.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment
- Analyzes enrollment trends data to develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan for the program.
- Attends college fairs, plans strategic site visits, and participates in campus-wide recruiting events, requiring occasional evening or weekend hours and travel around two weeks per year.
- Manages the communication funnel for prospective students, providing personalized outreach via email, phone, and digital platforms.
- Conducts regular one-on-one meetings, informational sessions, and building tours for potential students and their families.
- Contributes to new student orientation and summer outreach programs.
- Admissions
- Oversees the logistics of the selective admissions process.
- Maintains database integrity and tracks applicant pipelines using specialized university systems and CRM software (e.g., Slate).
- Event Management & Student Leadership
- Plans and executes enrollment events, including competitive scholarship interviews and new student orientations.
- Recruits, trains, and supervises the student ambassador team to support daily recruitment operations and major institutional events.
- Advising & First-Year Support
- Provides academic guidance and holistic support to first-year International Studies majors to ensure successful transition, engagement, and retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role. Substitutions will be assessed on a 1:1 basis.
Pay
$46,904.00 - $70,366.40
