White Plains Hospital is the most awarded and fastest-growing hospital in Westchester County, renowned for its specialized surgical care and efficient operations led by attending physicians. The practice provides anesthesia services for a wide range of cases at White Plains Hospital and five nearby Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
The team consists of 45 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs from top programs, covering 41 anesthetizing locations daily. The care team model emphasizes collaboration, respect, and excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
- Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse.
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
Case Assignments & Schedule
- Schedule options: 8s, 10s, or 12s (other options may be available).
- No nights, weekends, or holidays.
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases.
- State-of-the-art, brand-new operating rooms.
- Variety of cases including general, OB, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatrics, neuro, and ortho.
- No transplant or trauma cases.
- Cardiac and young pediatric cases covered by dedicated teams.
- Opportunities to expand regional anesthesia skills.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $146.63/hr ($305K annually) - $151.44/hr ($315K annually).
Sign-on Incentive: Up to $100K.
