Join a busy hospital-based practice in White Plains, NY, offering a diverse case mix within a care team model. This opportunity provides work-life balance with flexibility, requiring only 2 shifts per week. White Plains Hospital is the most awarded and fastest-growing hospital in Westchester County, just north of NYC, known for its specialized surgical care supported by a vibrant anesthesiology department.
The team consists of 45 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs from top programs, covering 41 anesthetizing locations daily. The care team model emphasizes collaboration, respect, and excellence in care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
- Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse.
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
Case Assignments & Schedule
- Schedule: 1–24 hour and 1–16 hour shift per week.
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases.
- State-of-the-art, brand-new operating rooms.
- Great variety of cases including general, OB, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatrics, neuro, and ortho.
- No transplant cases and no trauma.
- Cardiac and young pediatrics cases covered by dedicated cardiac and peds teams.
- Plenty of opportunity to expand regional anesthesia skills.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $146.63/hr - $151.44/hr, plus shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend hours.
Sign-on Incentive: Up to $100K.
Total compensation range: $305K - $315K.
