Job Summary

You will join our well-respected Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) team in our downtown Seattle location, Virginia Mason Medical Center. You will provide a safe anesthetic experience for assigned patients under the guidance of the attending surgeon. Every day, you will be responsible for meeting established surgical standards and managing anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. You will also promote teamwork with Operating Room personnel, physicians, and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Meticulously provide safe general and regional anesthetic experiences for assigned patients, working under the guidance of the attending surgeon.
• Demonstrate exceptional expertise in anesthesia administration and management.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices.
• Proactively foster teamwork within the Operating Room and across departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient surgical operations.

Requirements

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
• Certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Adequate knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures.
• Aptitude for detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond appropriately in stressful or emergent situations.

Preferred

• 2+ years experience following training.
• EPIC experience.

Pay Range

$268,800 - $291,200 /year
