Rush Oak Park Hospital, a community hospital located in the western suburbs of Chicago and partner with Rush University Medical Center, invites applications for the position of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Rush Hospitals are nationally recognized clinical and academic institutions and the teaching hospitals for Rush Medical and Nursing colleges.
About the Role
The CRNA will function under the medical direction of the anesthesiologist with regard to pre-anesthetic, anesthetic, and post-anesthetic patient management. As a faculty member, the CRNA will clinically educate as a preceptor for Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs).
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for a variety of cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Function as a faculty member and supervise SRNAs in the nurse anesthesia program.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Current IL RN/APN license.
- CPR and ACLS certification.
Schedule
- Flexible shifts available: 8-hour, 10-hour, and possibility of 12-hour shifts.
- No in-house call requirement; no OB/Cardiac/Neuro coverage.
- Paid to carry pager while on-call, with additional call-rate pay if called in.

Pay
Pay range: $250,000 - $350,000 for full-time, 1.0 FTE employees. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances.
