CRNA Needed for Locum Coverage at OR in South Bend, Indiana

About the role

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide autonomous anesthesia services in a busy surgery center, primarily supporting orthopedic, cataract, and spinal cord stimulator procedures. Day shifts with no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care independently during surgical procedures
• Perform peripheral nerve blocks and spinal anesthesia (preferred)
• Manage adult patient cases with minimal pediatric involvement
• Operate within an autonomous practice model in an on-site setting

Requirements

• Board certification required
• Experience with orthopedic and spinal cases preferred
• Proficiency in nerve blocks and spinal anesthesia advantageous

Work Environment

• Fast-paced surgery center environment
• No support staff or prescriptive authority needed
• Work independently with no supervision
