Responsibilities
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments
- Obtain patient consent and discuss anesthetic options
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patients' physiological conditions throughout surgeries
- Exercise prescriptive authority
- Participate in on-site day shifts with call coverage
Practice setting
- Staffing model: 1 MD to 4 CRNAs
- 8 anesthesia rooms
- Variable case load covering a variety of patient ages
- Organized workflows to ensure quality care
