CRNA - Locums Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide inpatient anesthesia services in a community hospital setting in North Carolina. You will deliver anesthesia care under physician supervision during day and call shifts, covering obstetric, general, and specialized procedures such as vascular and lung cases. The role includes performing labor epidurals, with experience in cardiovascular cases preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variable caseload across all patient ages.
• Participate in on-call duties, including weekends, on a 1:8 rotation schedule.
• Work in a supervised environment during inpatient surgical procedures without hands-on responsibilities.

Requirements

• Active North Carolina nursing license.
• Board certification in anesthesia.
• Experience or comfort with obstetric and cardiovascular procedures preferred.

Schedule

• Rotating shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours, including regular and overnight hours.
• On-call rotation with weekend duties.
