About the role
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for ongoing locum coverage in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia services during day shifts, managing diverse surgical cases such as pain, ENT, orthopedic, ophthalmology, general surgery, and obstetrics.
- Offer first call coverage with a 30-minute response time after scheduled cases and second call assistance until 3:00 PM, remaining within 30 minutes thereafter.
- Work under an autonomous staffing model, with prescriptive authority and supervision/direction as required.
Requirements
- Board certification required.
- Experience with a variety of surgical procedures and patient populations of all ages.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties
- Manage anesthesia care during scheduled surgeries.
- Respond promptly to call requirements.
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia services within established protocols.
