About the Role
The CRNA will provide comprehensive anesthesia services in an outpatient orthopedic setting, managing cases independently under MD supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
- Obtain patient consent and discuss anesthetic options
- Oversee induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patient physiological conditions
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
- Ensure high-quality patient care during day shifts
Requirements
- Prescriptive authority
- Board certification
- Ability to work independently with supervision
- Strong clinical skills in anesthesia management
Work Environment
On-site outpatient clinic with a supervision model of 1 MD to 4 CRNAs, managing anesthesia for orthopedic procedures without performing own procedures. No call required.
