About the role

Locum tenens coverage for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in a hospital setting in central Alaska. The role involves providing anesthesia services for a variety of cases, including general, pediatric, OB, vascular, and thoracic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for surgical cases
• Perform airway management and ultrasound-guided blocks
• Administer neuraxial anesthesia
• Place IV, arterial, and central lines under supervision
• Handle a mix of cases in a clinical environment

Schedule

12-hour day shifts with in-house call. Call duties are generally straightforward with minimal trauma cases.

Requirements

• Board certification as a CRNA
• Experience with airway management, ultrasound-guided blocks, and line placements
• Ability to work in a supervision-based practice
• Capability to work independently in a hospital setting
