About the role

This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to assess, plan, and administer pediatric anesthesia tailored to patients' physiological needs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting pre-anesthetic evaluations, discussing options with families, and providing age-appropriate education and reassurance
• Developing individualized anesthesia care plans
• Administering various anesthetic techniques (general, regional, local, sedation)
• Monitoring patient responses during procedures
• Managing airway emergencies
• Providing post-anesthesia care
• Responding to code situations
• Educating families about anesthesia and recovery
• Collaborating with other professionals for seamless perioperative care
• Participating in teaching students and residents

Qualifications

• Master's degree (Doctorate preferred)
• RN licensure
• CRNA certification
• BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
