About the role
This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to assess, plan, and administer pediatric anesthesia tailored to patients' physiological needs.
Responsibilities
- Conducting pre-anesthetic evaluations, discussing options with families, and providing age-appropriate education and reassurance
- Developing individualized anesthesia care plans
- Administering various anesthetic techniques (general, regional, local, sedation)
- Monitoring patient responses during procedures
- Managing airway emergencies
- Providing post-anesthesia care
- Responding to code situations
- Educating families about anesthesia and recovery
- Collaborating with other professionals for seamless perioperative care
- Participating in teaching students and residents
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Doctorate preferred)
- RN licensure
- CRNA certification
- BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
