CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - PRN

Position Overview Provides anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for a variety of surgical procedures and diagnostic tests. Works independently and collaborates with a team of anesthesiologists, surgeons, and students in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role involves participating in clinical instruction, ensuring patient safety, and delivering evidence-based anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties. Key Responsibilities Administer anesthesia in diverse settings and procedures Support and mentor nurse anesthesia students Follow departmental policies and procedures Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy Respond effectively to emergency and critical situations Communicate effectively with patients and team members Uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program Alabama Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license Current BLS and ACLS certifications Self-motivated with strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments Capable of managing multiple tasks and responding to emergencies Demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and a customer-focused approach
