About the Role

As our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will join a quality-driven, patient-centered anesthesia team providing services at CHI St. Alexius in Bismarck, North Dakota. This full-scope practice opportunity is ideal for both experienced CRNAs and new graduates looking to build a rewarding career. You'll become part of a collaborative team of 8 anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs. Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for 30-40 cases per day across a broad range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, spine, bariatrics, obstetrics, gastroenterology, ENT, urology, cardiac, and OB/GYN
• Practice within a case mix that does not include cardiac or trauma cases, allowing for a diverse yet balanced workload
• Practice to the full scope of your education and training
• Work collaboratively within a team under medical supervision of CRNAs (4 CRNAs per MD)
• Participate in call rotation of 1:8, with call from home
• Provide coverage at one hospital — no ASC
• Utilize EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist from an accredited program
• Ability to obtain North Dakota Licensure

Where You'll Work

CHI St. Alexius Health is a Level II Trauma Center and is the largest health care delivery system in central and western North Dakota, comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston, along with numerous clinics and outpatient services. In addition, CHI St. Alexius Health manages five CAHs in North Dakota — Ashley, Elgin, Linton, and Wishek — as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, SD.
