CRLS Summer Math Preview Program Teacher (Geometry)

Overview

Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) offers Summer Preview Programs in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies for CRLS students who are taking Honors or Advanced Placement classes next school year and are part of historically marginalized populations. These programs are designed to provide a comprehensive experience including academic support, equitable access to curriculum, and a joyful learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and encourage a growth mindset and risk-taking throughout the entire experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Massachusetts certification in grade 9-12 subject matter.
• Experience teaching in an urban, multi-cultural school system with inclusionary practices.
• Meet NCLB highly qualified teacher requirements.

Pay

The contract amount shall not exceed $2,500.00 or 50 hours of work at the Summer School Teacher rate of $50.00 per hour.

Schedule

The contract runs from July 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026.
