CRLS Summer Math Preview Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Cook up the logistics and oversee the implementation of the CRLS Summer Preview Program (MPP).
• Facilitate the creation of the program’s class schedule based on teacher availability and offerings.
• Coordinate the distribution and receipt of applications for the program.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings when needed regarding and during the MPP.
• Collaborate with the Mayor’s Program and CRLS regarding student and teacher payment, keeping necessary parties informed of timelines, required documentation, and actions needed.
• Filter the list of the upcoming year’s Honors & Advanced Placement class students based on the MPP’s eligibility criteria.
• Create attendance sheets for each content area and ensure the accuracy of attendance taken.
• Provide or coordinate technical assistance when needed for students, families, and educators.
• Encourage and demonstrate a growth mindset philosophy for students and educators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Experience teaching in an urban, multi-cultural school system with inclusionary practices.

Pay

The contract amount shall not exceed $2,400.00 at the Site Coordinator - Summer School rate of $40.00 per hour for up to 60 hours. The length of the contract is from July 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026.
