About the Role
The Scholarship Coordinator is a part-time, 10-month contract position that supports the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) community by managing scholarships and awards for students. This role ensures that students are informed about and have access to scholarship opportunities, and that the award process is executed smoothly and professionally. The coordinator will work closely with the Scholarship Committee, CRLS department heads, and the guidance department to facilitate the selection and presentation of scholarships and awards. This position also involves producing evening events for the presentation of scholarships and awards, and meeting with donors as needed to maintain relationships and secure funding. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, facilitation, and program management skills, and a passion for supporting student success. While current CRLS staff or faculty members are preferred, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Coordinate CRLS scholarships and other awards.
- Convene and facilitate the Scholarship Committee.
- Coordinate with CRLS department heads and guidance department.
- Oversee and coordinate the award process.
- Produce evening events for the presentation of scholarships and awards.
- Provide information and support to students regarding scholarship and prize opportunities and applications.
- Meet with donors as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and program management skills.
- Current CRLS staff or faculty member preferred.
Pay
Contract amount not to exceed $7,000.00. Hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. Non-exempt employees will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours per week.
