Critical Facilities Electrical Technician
What's the Job?
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in mission-critical environments while following established procedures and safety protocols.
Conduct inspections and testing to ensure proper grounding, labeling, and overall system integrity.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, replacing or repairing components as needed to restore functionality.
Support system upgrades and infrastructure refresh projects, including panel modifications, cable routing, and equipment commissioning.
Monitor electrical systems for anomalies, alarms, or failures and respond promptly to maintain operational continuity.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; vocational training or apprenticeship in electrical systems preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, or Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
- Experience supporting mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, utilities, or refineries.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance practices.
- OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E certifications preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
