What This Job Involves
- Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all data center systems to maintain 100% uptime.
- Monitor and adjust refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, and ventilating and water heaters; pumps, valves, piping, and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.
- Monitor building management systems and respond to alarms and alerts promptly.
- Analyze system operations, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Comply with departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Manage incidents and events that affect critical systems.
- Work order management, including CMMS, Vendor Management, and Customer Facing Tickets.
- Understand and comply with emergency escalation procedures.
- Perform additional job duties as required.
Required
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 4+ years related work experience
- Systems, emergency generators, and switchgears experience
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Ability to work different schedules and respond to site emergencies

- Hands-on experience working in a data center/critical facility, including UPS
