Critical Care Tech Cardiac Surgery ICU
About the role
The Critical Care Tech in the Cardiac Surgery ICU at St Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, provides direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with RNs or physicians. You will assist in patient care, order/receive/stock supplies, and support staff with various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Communicates with RN and Physician regarding patient/family observations to assist in the treatment of patients.
- Performs a variety of technical tasks as directed by the RN or physician.
- Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience.
- Accurately and timely documents all tasks, observations, and procedures on the patient record.
- Demonstrates effective use of clinical strategies to ensure patient and associate safety.
- Collaborates with medicine, nursing, and other healthcare professionals regarding the plan of care, follow-up, and evaluation for the patient and family.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Emergency Medical Technician Certificate and IV Therapy Certificate or EMT-A or EMT-I or Paramedic Certificate
- One (1) year healthcare experience (pre-hospital, ED and/or patient care) preferred
Preferred
- Experience in a critical care setting

Pay
The posted compensation range for this position is $18.00 - $28.51 per hour, reflecting the lowest and highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is 80 hours per week, with a day shift.
