About the role
The Critical Care Tech Cardiac Surgery ICU position at St Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, involves performing direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with RNs or physicians. You will assist in patient care, order/receive/stock supplies, and support staff with various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Communicates with RN and Physician regarding patient/family observations to assist in the treatment of patients.
- Performs a variety of technical tasks as directed by the RN or physician.
- Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience.
- Accurately and timely documents all tasks, observations, and procedures performed on the patient record.
- Demonstrates effective use of clinical strategies to ensure patient and associate safety.
- Collaborates with medicine, nursing, and other healthcare professionals regarding the plan of care, follow-up, and evaluation for the patient and family.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Emergency Medical Technician Certificate and IV Therapy Certificate or EMT-A or EMT-I or Paramedic Certificate
- One (1) year healthcare experience (pre-hospital, ED and/or patient care) preferred
Preferred
- Experience in a critical care setting
- Previous experience in cardiac surgery ICU
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
- Meticulous attention to detail in supply management
- Strong patient care skills and excellent communication abilities

Pay
The posted compensation range is $18.00 - $28.51 /hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
The schedule is 80 hours per week, with a day shift.
