About the role

As a member of the Critical Care Response Transport Team, the Registered Nurse provides patient assessment, critical nursing care, and transport services to patients. The Nurse is responsible for supervising patient care, treatment, and assessment during transport.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Prefer 3 years of experience in a critical care or emergency department environment
• Certified in ACLS and PALS prior to hire
• Certified CEN and/or CCRN preferred
• Patient Transport Experience Preferred
• BSN preferred
• EMT-B bridge course will be offered upon hire and must be completed within 90 days of hire date
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting in a vehicle and working on a computer; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times; ability to bend and stoop, ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; possess hand-eye-foot coordination and color recognition; good manual dexterity, with the ability to perform all tasks related to Emergency Medical Services Duty

Benefits

• Regular, non-exempt field employees who are scheduled to work on designated holidays are paid a premium holiday rate of 1.5 times their regular rate for all hours worked on the holiday
• Paid time off at the rate of 1.0 hours per 40 hours worked

Pay

This is an hourly position with a wage range of $51.91–$70.44 per hour, determined by the length of licensure.

Schedule
