Critical Care RN PACU

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate leader to join our nursing team. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this role will provide patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Affirms accountability for quality patient outcomes.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources (human and fiscal).
• Serves as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluates and promotes change to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Adapts behavior to the specific patient population.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
