Critical Care Registered Nurse

About the role

The Department of Alfred Care Group Emergency, which includes both the Alfred Emergency and Trauma Centre and Sandringham Emergency Department, is seeking a Critical Care trained Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Lead to excellent inpatient care
• Establish a relationship with patients to achieve the best possible outcomes
• Practice patient-centred care, trust, and respect in every interaction
• Evaluate the patient's plan of care in partnership with the patient, their carers, and other members of the health care team
• Work independently and in a team
• Manage serious illness or injury requiring immediate medical attention

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
• Completion of Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills
• Emergency nursing experience
• Emergency triage and leadership experience
• Valid working rights

Qualifications and Experience Required
