Critical Care Registered Nurse
About the role
The Department of Alfred Care Group Emergency, which includes both the Alfred Emergency and Trauma Centre and Sandringham Emergency Department, is seeking a Critical Care trained Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Lead to excellent inpatient care
- Establish a relationship with patients to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Practice patient-centred care, trust, and respect in every interaction
- Evaluate the patient's plan of care in partnership with the patient, their carers, and other members of the health care team
- Work independently and in a team
- Manage serious illness or injury requiring immediate medical attention
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
- Completion of Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills
- Emergency nursing experience
- Emergency triage and leadership experience
- Valid working rights
Qualifications and Experience Required
