Critical Care Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Round on critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform admissions and consultations
• Manage medications and treatment plans
• Perform procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, intubation, chest tube placement, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, bronchoscopy, paracentesis, etc.

Requirements

• Required Education: Masters Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant School
• Required Certifications and Licensures: Current licensure by the State of Virginia as a Physician Assistant ACLS (required only for LFM)
