About the role

Plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care in the transport environment on a particular shift.

Functions under limited supervision.

Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care.

Maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units.

Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel.

Requirements

• Eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Experience: Bachelor's Degree Preferred, 1 Year Experience Performing Critical Care Interfacility Transport Preferred, 3 years experience (minimum 4000 hours) in 911 or equivalent environment as an EMT-Paramedic Preferred.
• Licenses: Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required, Basic Life Support Required, Paramedic Certification Required.
• Other: Drivers License Preferred, EMS Vehicle Operator Preferred, Critical Care Paramedic Cert Preferred, Natl Reg. Emergency Med Techs Preferred, Neonatal Resuscitation Program Preferred, Pediatric Adv. Life Support Preferred.
