Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Intermountain Health is seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a team of experienced Critical Care providers at the state-of-the-art McKay-Dee Hospital, a 324-bed level II Certified Stroke Center.

About the role

You will work in a shared-services Critical Care Unit as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients. The Critical Care team includes 12 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

• Provide care in a 32-bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU, treating general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and medical patients
• Practice at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah
• 24/7 in-house ICU coverage, including a mix of days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• 10.5-hour day shifts, 14.5-hour night shifts
• No call expectation
• Shared-services model in collaboration with intensivists
• Relocation assistance available if relocating 50+ miles

Requirements

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
• Board certification or eligibility
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• ICU experience and/or APP experience preferred

Pay

Hourly rate: $57.33 - $88.47, dependent upon experience.

Schedule

• Scheduled weekly hours: 40
• 10.5-hour day shifts or 14.5-hour night shifts
• Mix of days, nights, weekends, and holidays
