Job Description

Responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, facilitating, implementing and evaluating educational programs for professionals and paraprofessionals who provide direct patient care and/or are involved in patient-related activities. Participates in education related to system-wide activities and clinical programs throughout Olean General Hospital. Consults and makes recommendations related to educational needs, competencies, and activities to other departments.

Education And Credentials

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field
  • or five (5) years recent clinical experience as an RN in an acute care setting

Experience

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in the clinical area related to the position
  • Previous teaching experience preferred
