Critical Care Nurse - Clinical Solution Specialist (Patient Monitoring) - Metro NY

About the role

Bring your passion for patient care and technology to this field-based role where you’ll serve as the clinical application knowledge expert, providing clinical customer support and facilitating solutions design, optimization, configuration, and delivery of Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) products to ensure a quality customer experience.

Approximately 90% travel across the Metro NYC district is required, with average daily driving time of 1-4 hours. Occasional overnight stays and travel by air, train, or bus may be required. Further support across the zone and occasional national travel may also be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource to Philips HPM customers, collaborating with field service, sales, and project management teams throughout multiphase implementation and go-live processes.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key internal partners and customers to enable successful implementation teams.
• Understand customer goals and develop plans to support clinical solutions implementation and usage, delivering consultative, advanced clinical services focused on workflows and optimization.
• Manage the clinical aspects of implementations, including assessing workflows, evaluating education needs, creating education plans, determining custom configuration requirements, and delivering equipment and application education.
• Support first customer use, encourage ongoing adoption of change, and optimize the use of complex monitoring solutions.
• Understand the clinical implications of technical implementations (including networks and clinical informatics systems) and apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital environment.
• Experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), Operating Room (OR), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and/or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) settings.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent licensure to practice nursing (Registered Nurse); must provide verification of current/active license.
• Knowledge of Philips IntelliVue monitoring equipment and applications preferred.
• Prior clinical training and adult education delivery experience highly preferred.
• Certified Technical Trainer Plus (CTT+) and/or Virtual Certified Technical Trainer Plus (VCTT+) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for technology and education related to patient care.

• Ability to work in an office, home office, and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment while adhering to all requirements.
• Flexibility to work hours based on business needs.
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
• May be required to comply with vendor credentialing.

Pay

The annual pay range for this position in New York is $101,000 to $160,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include an annual incentive plan, sales commission, or long-term incentives.
