Summary

Responds to calls for critical care transport services and provides support during pre and post transportation of critical care patients.

Responsibilities

  • Navigates and drives ambulance to and from treatment centers.
  • Participates in Pre and Post Transport briefings.
  • Determines nature and extent of illness or injury and patient's history from available sources.
  • Administers emergency medical care within scope of practice, including patient stabilization, monitoring, and resuscitation.
  • Contacts medical personnel, reports/records observations, and follows directives from supervising Physician, Registered Nurse or Paramedic.
  • Maintains equipment, restocks supplies and cleans ambulance as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma or GED.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT); Colorado EMT certification; Wyoming EMT certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred

  • CEVO or EVOC certification.

Pay

$19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Schedule

PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks).
