Job Summary
ICCH (Intensive Care Consortium) Healthcare is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
About the Role
Mix of Days and Nights
12-hour shifts covering a medical/surgical ICU
1 MD and 1 APP (7am to 7pm);
1 APP with MD on call for support (7 pm to 7 am)
Ability to work Full Time, 13 shifts per month
Ability to work autonomously at night with MD on call
Opportunity to also cover at sister facility, Mtn View, if needed
Responsibilities
- Gain proficiency with, and be credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, Chest tubes, bronchs, intubations, and management of mechanical ventilation
- Provide care in a medical/surgical ICU setting
- Work autonomously at night with MD on call
- Cover at sister facility, Mtn View, if needed
Qualifications
- Acute care NP certification or PA License
- Critical care provider experience or critical care fellowship preferred, not required
