Critical Care Advanced Practice Fellowship 2027

About the role

Penn Medicine is hiring APP Providers (Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and/or Masters prepared Physician Assistant) into a Critical Care Advanced Practitioner Fellowship Program. This is a 12-month paid Fellowship starting in early 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a thorough didactic and clinical curriculum
  • Engage in 60 hours of work per week (50 clinical and 10 academic hours)
  • Attend high fidelity simulation sessions
  • Pass simulation competency evaluations
  • Obtain a Post Master’s certification from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing
  • Opportunity for employment following successful completion of the program

Requirements

  • Pennsylvania state licensure and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification or Masters prepared Physician Assistant required at time of start
  • Ability to commit and work at least 60 hours (includes class time) per week (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • BLS, ACLS required
  • A Health Care Assessment, references, and personal interview is required
