Crisis Support Worker

About the role

We are looking for a Crisis Support Worker to add to our team! This is a full-time position. As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis. Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We provide a company car, cell phone, and computer.

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday 4p to 2a
• Monday – Thursday 12a – 10a
• Both shifts require a rotating on-call weekend once every four weeks

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred (we will teach you the rest!)
• This position requires a rotation of weekend on-call hours once every four weeks

Qualifications

• Compassionate, eager to learn, and wants to help children in times of crisis
• Communicates clearly and effectively
• Desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills
• Strong desire to advocate for children
• This position is great for those looking for a part-time job and who want experience in the child welfare field

Pay

Average hourly rate is $14.55 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)
