About the role
Under general direction, this role is responsible for the programs, administration, development, maintenance, and coordination of residential services. This is a mission-driven leadership opportunity for an experienced human services professional who brings both clinical knowledge and supervisory strength to a team-centered environment.
Requirements
Education, Training, and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field; or
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience providing therapeutic, residential, social, or program services to children and families; and/or
- A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
- Must possess and maintain a valid Ohio Driver's License, with an appropriate driving record and insurance coverage at all times, in accordance with agency policy and/or insurance carrier requirements
- Successful completion of all required pre-hire testing
- Proof of current TB test upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensed by the State of Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (PC) — the LCSW credential is among the most frequently cited qualifications in Healthcare Social Worker and Mental/Behavioral Health Counselor postings nationally
- Five (5) or more years of experience providing therapeutic, residential, social, or program services to children and families
- Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health or residential services setting
