About the role
The Peer Support Specialist provides community-based mental health support focused on recovery and crisis stabilization.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals experiencing mental health crises
- Assist with recovery barriers
- Conduct trauma-informed risk assessments
- Collaborate with community partners
- Coordinate care services
Requirements
- Self-identified former or current mental health service user with at least one year of stable recovery
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Must complete required trainings and documentation

Work Environment
