Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Assist with patient care under nursing supervision
  • Implement de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques
  • Conduct safety checks
  • Supervise visitation and therapeutic activities
  • Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

  • Must be able to work and concentrate amidst distractions such as noise, conversation and foot traffic

  • Must be able to set and maintain therapeutic distance with clients, as well as maintain therapeutic boundaries during treatment following discharge
