Crisis Outreach Professional - Master's Level
Comprehensive Healthcare · Yakima, WA · 3 wk ago
OTHRFull-time
About the role
Comprehensive Healthcare offers internship and practicum placements for students in clinical-focused academic programs. Internships are available at all five campuses (Ellensburg, Walla Walla, Yakima, Sunnyside, and Tri-Cities). Placement depends on the specific requirements of each student's internship program as determined by their university, and students should consider their interests, career goals, and internship requirements when determining which programs to apply for.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program that requires completion of an internship to graduate.
- Priority is given to students in counseling or social work programs.
- Students from other related disciplines may be considered when space is available.
Qualifications
Applicants should align their interests, career goals, and specific internship program requirements with the treatment areas offered at the campuses to determine the best fit for their placement.
Responsibilities
- Complete the online application and upload all required and relevant documents.
- A member of the team reviews the application for details such as geographic location, supervision requirements, and timeframe.
- If a suitable experience can be provided, the application is forwarded to relevant supervisors for interview.
- If selected for an internship, the onboarding team facilitates completion of all required paperwork and agreements to confirm the placement.
- HR conducts a criminal background check.
- Once everything is confirmed, the intern is scheduled to complete a day of onboarding (generally on a Monday at the Yakima main facility, with flexibility for students unable to travel) before starting the internship.
