Crisis Mobile Specialist
Job Summary
The Crisis Mobile Specialist is responsible for responding to crisis calls from first responders, jails, hospitals, other providers and the community at large. The intent of this service is to quickly triage a crisis situation, recommend an appropriate intervention, and assist in transitioning the person in crisis to the most appropriate level of care, when applicable. These positions are 'on call' positions and are required to respond to crisis situations 24 hours a day.
Skills/Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED required.
- Associates degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the behavioral health field required.
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- Clear AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing)
