Lifeline Connections is a community-based behavioral health organization specializing in providing confidential and compassionate care to individuals who experience substance use and/or mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Review Washington Administrative Codes (WACs) and Revised Codes (RCWs) and Federal regulations pertaining to behavioral health treatment to ensure compliance in all clinical services.
• Develop strength-based individual service plans that meet patients' unique needs in compliance with WAC 246-341.
• Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and case management services according to the individual service plan and evaluation recommendations.
• Work as part of a treatment team and assist in daily clinical operations, including facilitating treatment planning meetings.
• Conduct patient-centered comprehensive assessments covering psychiatric history, mental status, diagnosis, physical and dental health, substance use, education, employment, social development, daily living activities, and family structure.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date clinical files documenting all services and contacts as required by WAC 246-341.
• Support and implement agency policies and procedures.
• Represent the agency in community meetings and clinical reviews with supervisor approval.
• If applicable, be available on-call to ensure continuity of care for agency patients.
• Provide behavior support, education, and side-by-side services, including skill training, supervision, and environmental adaptations to assist patients with daily living activities.
• Perform ongoing assessment, problem-solving, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or further advanced degree in counseling or a social science from an accredited college or university.
• Eligibility for one of the following licenses (must be pending at hire and active within 30 days):
  • MFT or MFTA
  • LICSW or LSWAIC
  • LMHC or LMHCA
  • Licensed Agency Affiliate (AAC)
• Meet the requirements of a mental health professional as defined in WAC 246-341.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Willingness to understand each individual’s unique circumstances and incorporate them into crisis response.
• Strong understanding of the Living Room Model of service delivery, recovery, resilience, and individual choice.
• Interest or experience working with individuals who are difficult to engage in traditional behavioral health programs.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals displaying a wide range of behaviors.
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing challenging behaviors.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License, access to a vehicle, and appropriate insurance.
• Familiarity with Washington State regulations related to behavioral health services (RCW 71.05).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Work Environment

• Primarily indoors in offices, meeting rooms, or milieu settings.
• Occasional outdoor supervision, community visits, staff retreats, or development activities.
• Regular sitting, speaking, hearing, and use of hands for writing or keyboard tasks.
• Occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or lifting up to 15 lbs.
• Regular operation of an automobile may be required.

Pay

$33.04 - $36.23 per hour, depending on experience.
